At the Marlins Game - May 27, 2007 (The 56th day of the Omer)
Today, we had an outing to the Marlins vs. NY Mets game, which was also "Heimi Day" (those more inclined toward political correctness called it "Jewish Heritage Day") at the ballpark. In honor of Jewish Heritage Day, the stadium had Kosher hot dogs (parents were seen buying one for their 6 children and then taking 45 packets of ketchup) and a Mincha Minya at section 145, and a break away minyan at section 146.
After hearing about this event, the Williamsburg bais din re-issued their psak that it's osur to go to Marlins games.
They gave out baseball bats to all the children.
